Most of the Yakusugi cedars we sell in our store are buried wood, but this product is a branch (although even though it is called a branch, it is over 1m in diameter) from an extremely old tree that was alive at the time of felling.
 As you can see in the photo, the reddish color is extremely rare even among Yakusugi cedars.
